Fivehold is a portion of a giant, space-faring ship named "Ruby, My Dear". I use this venue to explore science fiction themes, and as a role-playing world.

My fantasy work is often inspired by our role-playing group. We've been playing together since 1980, in the Gringold Campaign, with members taking turns being game masters and mutual storytellers. In addition, some of the illustrations are for Khalsa-Brain Games' Spellgrounds, for whom I was the original artist for their collectible card game playmats since 1994. Also, images from my teaching career where I often incorporated sci-fi and fantasy themes into teaching game design, art and multimedia.
